Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver in Minnesota, Rochester to deliver food and related products to various customers. The role involves day-time schedules, no overnights or weekends, with routes that may include intrastate and interstate travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Valid CDL-A
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspects tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on various routes to deliver food and related products on schedule.
• Unloads products from trailer and transports to designated customer storage areas.
• Completes required paperwork and ensures proper signatures and delivery verification.
• Maintains secure loading/ unloading, and reports any safety hazards or issues.
