Performance Foodservice is hiring a delivery driver in Champaign, IL to operate tractor trailers and straight trucks for intrastate and interstate routes. You will be the face of the company, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and maintaining customer relationships.

The role requires a CDL A, 21+ years old, and a clean MVR, with DOT compliance and safety inspections throughout the shift. Benefits begin Day 1 and growth opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL A.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Performs DOT safety checks and inspects tractors/trailers.
• Reports safety issues and required repairs.
• Delivers and unloads food products to customers on schedule.
• Verifies delivery items with customers and collects signatures and payments where applicable.
• Maintains daily hours of service records and keeps work areas clean.
