Job summary

Gordon Food Service in York, PA is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities on local routes with home time every day.

You will unload up to 100 lbs, use a ramp and two-wheeler, and earn a guaranteed weekly pay between $1,200 and $1,500 plus mileage and case-delivery bonuses, with benefits starting on day one and opportunities for profit sharing. Schedule runs five days per week (Mon-Sat) with early start times.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record per DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with electronic consent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers during delivery.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs using a ramp and two-wheeler.
• Ensure safety and compliance with DOT and company standards.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: 525 N State St, York PA

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule:

5 Day work week between the days Monday - Saturday. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish.

Pay:

• Guaranteed minimum of $1200-$1500 weekly
• Daily base pay, plus component pay

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
