Job summary

Van Eerden is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver in Niles, MI to deliver products to customer locations, unload manually, and verify deliveries.

Starting with paid training, then a component pay structure; first-year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week. Schedule Monday–Friday with home daily routes and adherence to safety and FMCSA rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check free from felonies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer and place them in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in various terrains and weather.
• Lift/push/move products up to 50 lbs and occasionally over 75 lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA hours of service and safety regulations.
• Perform work following company safety practices.

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week working a standard 5-day schedule. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver's work ethic.

Schedule

Home daily routes that depart and return to South Bend, Indiana. Monday- Friday.

About the Job:

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled customer delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler and place product neatly and carefully in designated customer storage areas
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
• Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas in all weather conditions.
• Lift, push or move products that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.
