Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking qualified drivers for local routes in Montgomery, NY. Shifts start early and run to complete delivery of food products to various establishments, with the incentive of home daily and a strong pay structure.

Earn between $85,000 and over $100,000 annually, with a component pay system including per day, per mile, per case, and per stop, plus benefits and retirement options.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Operate a two-wheel cart up to 350 lbs.
• Lift up to 100 lbs during shift.
• Pass drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record per DOT standards.
• Register with DOT Clearinghouse and provide consent.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers while delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more.
• Work day shifts and local routes; home every day.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs using a ramp and two-wheeler.

Position Details

• Location: 136 Neelytown Rd, Montgomery NY
• Trailer Drop Schedule: 4 day work week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
• Shift starts between 2-5 am and work until route is complete

Pay

Our drivers annual pay ranges from $85K to over $100K! Our drivers are paid on a component pay structure. You are paid for the work that you do! Paid per day, per mile, per case and stop & more!

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more
• Work day shifts and local routes, so you’ll be home every day
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs, using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs throughout shift
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020
