Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. seeks a Class A CDL Delivery Driver for Indianapolis, IN. You will load, transport, and deliver gas and cryogenic products to customers and branches, maintain records, and follow SOPs daily.

Eligible candidates must have a Class B CDL with HazMat, Tanker, and Airbrakes endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy cylinders. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and company cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and store cylinders and supplies safely.
• Deliver to customers and branches, complete delivery tickets accurately.
• Maintain trip logs and vehicle cleanliness; follow SOPs and DOT/OSHA rules.
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and company procedures.

American Welding and Gas, Inc. (\"AWG\") has an immediate opportunity for Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Indianapolis, IN. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat, Tanker & Airbrakes endorsements.

Duties:

This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and crynogenic liquids and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels
• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled
• Maintain electronic trip-logs
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class B CDL Required with HazMat, Tanker & Airbrakes endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.
