Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. (AWG) seeks a Class B CDL Delivery Driver to join our Indianapolis team, responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering gas and cryogenic products to customers and branches, with precise paperwork and safe handling of cylinders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, moves, and stores gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and cryogenic liquids.
• Delivers to customers or other branches and completes delivery tickets accurately.
• Maintains safe handling of cylinders and DOT/OSHA compliance.

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG")has an immediate opportunity for Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Indianapolis, IN . This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat, Tanker & Airbrakes endorsements.

Duties: This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and crynogenic liquids and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels
• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets

Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled

• Maintain electronic trip-logs
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class B CDL Required with HazMat, Tanker & Airbrakes endorsements
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.
