Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Local CDL A Delivery Driver in Brandywine, MD. You will build relationships with customers while delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other clients. Home daily with day shifts, unloading up to 100 lbs, using a ramp and two-wheeler.

Starting pay includes a guaranteed minimum of $1,200 per week, with daily base pay plus miles and stops, plus benefits from Day One and a 401(k) with company match. Veterans encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A license at hire.
• Ability to unload up to 100 lbs and operate a two-wheel cart.
• Clean driving record; comply with DOT and company standards.
• Pass a drug test and background check; DOT Clearinghouse registration required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers including restaurants, schools, hospitals and universities.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
• Unload merchandise and ensure proper handling of all items.
• Maintain safe driving practices and route efficiency.

Local CDL A Delivery Driver

Location : 7900 Cedarville Rd, Brandywine MD

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you'll be home every day. You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule : 5 day work week between Monday - Saturday

Start time: Between the hours of 1:00am-4:00 am-until route is finished

Pay : Guaranteed minimum of $1200/ week

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age

• Class A CDL License at hire

• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check

• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards

• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
