Job summary

Schneider is seeking a dedicated truck driver to haul retail merchandise for Dollar General. Expect weekly home time, with 2–3 loads per week and multiple stops along routes across AZ, CA, NV, OR and WA.

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL and be located within 75 miles of Lebec, CA or San Bernardino, CA. Previous CDL driving experience of at least 3 months is required.

Average pay: $1,330-$1,620 weekly

Home time: Weekly

Overview

• Haul retail merchandise on liftgate trailers.

• 100% hand unload freight at Dollar General stores using rolltainer.

• 2-3 loads per week with 2-5 stop-offs per load.

• Drive within AZ, CA, NV, OR and WA.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.

• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first 90 days at Schneider.

• Weekly performance pay.

• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.

• Paid orientation.

• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.
