Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a full-time Combo Driver to move freight between Service Center locations and perform pickup and delivery tasks.

The role requires a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, at least one year of driving experience, DOT screenings, and the ability to operate forklifts. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A Interstate CDL with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Pass ACT road test.
• Ability to be certified as forklift operator.
• Familiar with proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Comply with all federal, state and local regulations that govern a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without equipment.
• Load freight to and from dock and trailers according to Bills of Lading and labels.
• Plan loading to utilize space and minimize damage.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
• Clean, sweep and wash dock, trailers and yard.
• Operate in a safe and legal manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
