Old Dominion Freight Line is looking for a dedicated Dockworker/Driver to support loading, unloading, and safe transport of freight between service centers and customer sites. The role combines forklift operation with driver duties and requires adherence to DOT rules, accuracy, and safety.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Class A CDL, meet experience requirements, and demonstrate strong work ethic and reliability. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Formación

• Must have valid Class A CDL with double/triple trailers, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
• Must read, write, and speak English; perform basic math and maintain logs.
• Must have 12 months tractor-trailer experience or complete OD Truck Driver Training; pass DOT medical, drug, and alcohol tests.
• Must be at least 22 years old and meet DOT driving standards.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift, pallet jack, or manually per DOT guidelines.
• Operate tractor-trailer safely within DOT regulations; load/unload freight and secure it inside trailers.
• Read shipping labels and complete freight movement forms; ensure quality loading of all trailers.
