Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. seeks a dependable Dockworker/Combination Driver to load/unload freight and deliver between service centers and customer locations.

You will operate a forklift and tractor-trailer, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries while complying with DOT regulations. Qualified candidates have a CDL-A with appropriate endorsements, at least 12 months of tractor-trailer experience, English proficiency, and the ability to pass required medical and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English and perform basic calculations.
• Valid Class A CDL with double/triple trailers, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
• 12 months tractor-trailer driving experience or completion of an approved driver program.
• Must pass DOT medical, drug, and alcohol tests and pass orientation training.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift or manually, following safety rules.
• Operate tractor-trailer between service centers and customer sites as required.
• Read shipping labels and complete necessary freight movement forms.
• Secure freight in trailers and maintain quality loading on all trailers.
