Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking dedicated Dockworker/Driver professionals in California to load, unload, and deliver freight safely and efficiently. You will operate forklifts and trucks, adhere to DOT rules, and ensure accurate handling of cargo across service centers and customer sites.

As part of a team, you will work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, with emphasis on safety, quality, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Must demonstrate basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift or manually.
• Operate tractor‑trailer between service centers and customer sites.
• Follow DOT regulations for safe driving and hours of service.
• Secure freight inside trailers with straps and other tools.
• Be available for varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
