Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a CDL A driver to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers while supporting sales efforts. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, secure freight, and ensure DOT compliance.

Ideal candidates will hold a Class A CDL with hazmat/tank endorsements, have at least one year of driving experience, good math/communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. This is a full-time hourly position in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations (including doubles/triples where applicable).
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and dollies; secure freight inside trailers.
• Handle freight with forklifts and pallet jacks; use straps and rope as needed.
• Complete required documentation; comply with DOT regulations.
