Job summary

Qwik Pipe Inc in Texas is seeking a reliable Commercial Driver to transport cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring on-time deliveries while strictly adhering to all DOT and FMCSA safety guidelines.

You will operate a commercial vehicle, secure cargo, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain ELD logs and delivery paperwork, and act as a professional representative during client drop-offs and pickups.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 25 to operate heavy or extra heavy units.
• 2+ years of driving experience operating similar units or equipment.
• Clean MVR with no disqualifying points (6+ points in past 3 years makes candidate ineligible).
• Must hold CDL and MEC as part of the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Inspect cargo before and after transport to ensure security and legal weight.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip DVIR inspections and report issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs, bills of lading, and delivery paperwork.
• Act as a professional representative during client drop-offs and pickups.
