Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Odessa, Texas is seeking a reliable Commercial Driver to transport cargo safely and on time, operating a commercial motor vehicle in line with DOT/FMCSA regulations. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.

The role requires a valid CDL, minimum 2 years of experience, a clean MVR, and ability to communicate in English. Candidates must meet DOT MEC, background checks, and HOS requirements for compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 25 years old.
• 2+ years of driving experience with heavy or similar units.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years.
• Valid CDL required (Class A preferred).
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) required.
• FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT/FMCSA rules.
• Inspect cargo before and after transport to ensure security and legal weight limits.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip DVIR inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs, bills of lading, and delivery paperwork.
• Provide professional customer service during drop-offs and pickups.
