Job summary

A Hiring Company is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to join our team. The role focuses on transporting goods safely and efficiently, adhering to DOT regulations and company policies, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, accurate log maintenance with ELDs, and clear communication with dispatch and customers about schedules and delays. A minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience and a clean CDL are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Safely load, secure, and unload cargo according to established procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, mileage, and deliveries using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety standards while on the road.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to management.
