Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Bulk Driver in Johnson Creek, WI to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites, safely and on time.

Shift is nights and weekends, typically 12–14 hours, with home daily. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance, and paid holidays. Hoisted responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, DOT reports, and CO2 tanker duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 3+ years experience as tractor-trailer driver.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training optional.
• HazMat or Tanker experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance as needed.
• Report accidents, injuries, safety issues, and citations to supervisor.
• Complete reports as required by DOT and Airgas policy.
• Tanker duties include hauling Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner.

• Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed.
• Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor.
• Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.
• Tanker - Hauling Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 3+ year experience as driver of tractor - trailer vehicles
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience
• Preferred, Three (3) years of HazMat or Tanker experience
