Airgas, Inc. in Roxana, IL is seeking a CDL A Local Bulk Driver Hazmat to transport industrial gases safely and on schedule. This role involves performing pre/post trip inspections and reporting incidents per DOT and Airgas policies, with night and weekend shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Drive tractor-trailer combinations, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre & post trip inspections and identify maintenance needs, reporting as required.
• Report accidents, injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to supervisor and complete required DOT/company reports.

Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner.

• Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed.
• Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor.
• Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 3+ year experience as driver of tractor - trailer vehicles .
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience.
• Preferred, Three (3) years of HazMat or Tanker experience.
• Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases, preferred.
