Qualifications

• Completion of an AHIMA approved coding program or equivalent training leading to coding certification eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Review health record documentation, develop criteria, collect data, graph and analyze results.
• Provide training in clinical documentation improvement to staff and clinicians.
• Serve as liaison between health information management and clinical staff and assist with policy updates.
