Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Management Engineer in the DUHS Quality Office to provide analytics, project management, and performance improvement support to Duke Health’s Coding and CDI teams.

You will develop and maintain analytics, dashboards, and reports; translate complex data into actionable insights for leaders and clinical partners; coordinate cross-functional projects and drive improvement in documentation integrity and coding accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree desired.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience (Master's may substitute or with 2 years of Duke ME I experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead development, validation, and maintenance of analytics supporting Coding and CDI performance indicators.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports for leaders and partners.
• Translate complex coding, CDI, clinical, quality, and financial data into actionable insights.
• Provide technical project management support for Coding and CDI initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across the DUHS Quality Office, Coding, CDI, and clinical operations.
