Job summary

City of Prescott is seeking a Grants Coordinator for the CDBG Development Services program to administer the entitlement, ensure HUD compliance, and provide program and project coordination for the Community Development Department, including support to the Planning and Building Divisions.

Under the supervision of the Planning Manager, this role requires independent judgment, daily program management, HUD reporting, and coordination with boards, commissions, and subrecipients.

Responsibilities

• Administers the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement program in compliance with HUD requirements.
• Provides program and project coordination for the Community Development Department including administrative support to the Planning and Building Divisions as well as relevant City boards and commissions.
• Under supervision of the Planning Manager, exercise independent judgment, initiative, decision‑making, and manage daily program activities including HUD compliance, reporting and sub‑recipient oversight.
