Job summary

The ACI Group seeks a CCURE 9000 Systems Administrator in Baltimore, MD to support the university health system’s access control and security event platform. You will administer CCURE 9000, manage credentials and permissions, and coordinate upgrades with IT and vendors across campus locations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in IT/CS and at least two years’ experience with CCURE 9000, Windows servers, and SQL Server, plus strong communication skills for collaboration with Public Safety and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (one year substituted by work experience).
• Minimum two years of relevant IT or electronic security systems experience including CCURE 9000 administration.
• Experience configuring CCURE 9000 personnel records, permissions, alarms, and events.
• Working knowledge of CCURE 9000 components (iSTAR controllers, readers, door hardware).
• Experience with Windows-based application servers and SQL Server.
• Ability to troubleshoot and coordinate escalation with IT teams or vendors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCURE 9000 platform and clients.
• Manage personnel records, credentials, clearances, schedules, and operator privileges per policies.
• Configure doors, readers, controllers, alarms, events, and notifications.
• Monitor health and connectivity; diagnose access or security issues.
• Coordinate upgrades, licensing, firmware updates, and lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate with IT, database teams, and security vendors on services and backups.
• Develop and maintain reports on access activity and system events.
• Document root causes and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Follow change management and security documentation standards.
