Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an ESS Security Systems Engineer to join our federal team at Ft. Hunter Liggett, CA. This onsite role focuses on maintenance, installation, and testing of access control, intrusion, and CCTV systems.

You will configure Software House C CURE 9000, work with DMP, MDI, and American Dynamics, and ensure safety and security compliance on DoD installations. A US citizenship and clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proficiency with electronic security systems (access controls, intrusion, CCTV).
• Experience with Software House C CURE 9000.
• Ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Strong drafting skills and system documentation.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work onsite at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service on access control, intrusion, and video surveillance systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot networked server systems and Software House C CURE 9000 software.
• Assist with system programming, integrations, and setup for ESS deployments.
• Conduct functional and acceptance testing to verify system performance.
• Provide updates to management and customers on project progress and issues.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, security, and clearance protocols.
• Train operators and end-users on system functionality.
