Qualifications

• Active NYS RN license.
• Bachelor's Degree - Nursing.
• ACLS & BLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical/surgical setting.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a coronary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify immediate and long-range plans for patient care including the patient and family.
• Set priorities for patient needs and make judgements accordingly.
• Monitor clinical status and assess significant changes.
• Communicate clearly with patient, family, physicians and team members.
• Safely administer medications on time per hospital policies.
• Perform venipuncture and start IV lines as needed.
