Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS CPR certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in healthcare setting (direct or non-direct) or STNA or student in healthcare major.
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
• Strong technology, typing, and computer skills.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient needs and growth/development.

Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served on assigned unit/department.
• Assist with patient care and room preparation as directed by nursing staff.
• Order and restock patient care supplies to meet daily needs.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain department/unit competencies for patient care.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence to promote patient satisfaction.
