Job summary

Hurt & Proffitt, Inc. in Lynchburg, Virginia, is seeking a CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems for infrastructure inspection projects across pipelines and utilities.

You will operate robotic cameras to inspect sanitary sewer and storm drain lines, collect data and video for reports, and work with project teams to meet specifications, while following safety protocols and lifting equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience with CCTV systems or similar equipment.
• Certifications in CCTV operation or maintenance are a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and equipment for infrastructure inspection projects.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CCTV systems to ensure reliability.
• Operate robotic cameras to inspect sanitary sewer and storm drain systems and identify defects.
• Collect data and video footage for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet specifications and client requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols during fieldwork and equipment operation.
• Assist with setup and transportation of equipment to job sites.
• Provide basic technical support and communicate with team members and supervisors.
