Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience installing commercial access control and video systems.
• Experience with door hardware and electric lock devices is necessary.
• Strong understanding of IP, Ethernet, and networking protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install and test CCTV and security systems following procedures.
• Pull and terminate cables, and troubleshoot installation issues.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors promptly.

Skills

Installation of commercial access control

Troubleshooting video systems

Knowledge of building codes

Electrical knowledge (AC/DC theory)

Education

High School diploma/GED

Technical/Trade/Vocational school certificate in electronics
