Virtual Vocations Inc. is seeking a full-time remote CCS Licensed Inpatient Medical Coder to review medical records, assign diagnoses and procedures, and ensure accurate DRG assignments while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

The role requires CCS certification and at least 3 years of inpatient coding experience in a facility setting, with familiarity in ICD-10-CM/CPT coding guidelines and proficiency in Google Suite.

Qualificações

• CCS certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient coding experience in a facility setting.
• Experience coding for large acute care facilities; Level 1 trauma centers preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT guidelines.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and excellent written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Review medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses and procedures related to patient encounters.
• Utilize Aquity applications to enter coded charts in real-time and solicit clarification from physicians on ambiguous documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and coding roundtables to maintain current knowledge and contribute to professional development.
