Job summary
Verto People seeks an Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a combined cycle power plant in Hobbs, New Mexico. You will oversee the operations team, maintain safety standards and drive reliable plant performance.
This senior role partners with site leadership, maintenance and technical teams to improve efficiency, reliability and operational standards across the facility. Relocation bonus is available.
Qualifications
- Requires experience leading operations in a combined cycle gas turbine or similar gas-fired power facility.
- Strong understanding of power plant operations, reliability and performance improvements.
- Experience guiding operations teams in a complex industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of a combined cycle power generation facility.
- Provide leadership and direction to operations personnel, ensuring safe and reliable plant performance.
- Collaborate with site leadership, maintenance and technical teams to improve efficiency and standards.
- Monitor plant performance, identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate operational activities including maintenance support, outages and plant improvements.
- Support employee development, coaching and performance management and build cross-functional relationships.
