Job summary

California Behavioral Treatment Center in Los Angeles County seeks a dedicated Behavior Interventionist to deliver 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings. You will help build communication, social, and self-help skills while collaborating with an experienced clinical team.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow into full-time hours, with paid training, RBT certification, mileage reimbursement, and advancement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is REQUIRED.
• Bachelor’s in ABA, Psychology, Child Development, Education, Communication Disorders, Sociology or related field is preferred.
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass TB test and fingerprint clearance.
• Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position: Behavior Interventionist

Behavior Interventionists provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. This role involves working one on one with clients, helping them build communication, social, and self‑help skills while collaborating with a supportive and experienced clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Support ABA treatment programs in home and school environments.
• Assist in developing treatment programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Qualifications

High School Diploma - REQUIRED

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience and education
• Part-time start: 15-20 hours per week to begin
• Path to full-time: Opportunity to grow into full‑time hours depending on center needs and your availability
