Job summary

Gersh Autism in Issaquah, WA is seeking a compassionate Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to support students with autism in academic and behavioral settings, under BCBA supervision.

This is a year-round school program. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm, with potential before/after school hours. Responsibilities include implementing IEP/BIP plans, data collection, and collaboration with teachers and behavior specialists to create a structured learning environment.

Qualifications

• Washington State CBT license is required.
• Minimum 12 college credits in ABA, psychology, or education.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality ABA services to families and children under BCBA guidance.
• Assist classroom teachers with IEPs and BIPs for students with autism.
• Collect and document data on student performance and progress toward goals.
• Support students during classroom activities, field trips, and school events.
• Collaborate with teachers and behavioral specialists to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Participate in daily training sessions with behavioral analysts for professional growth.
