Job summary

Community Partners in Action (CPA) is hiring an Intervention Specialist for the Manchester Alternative in the Community (MAIC) program in Manchester, CT. The role focuses on cognitive behavioral interventions and case management for adults involved in the criminal justice system.

Typical schedule runs Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am-4pm and Tuesday/Thursday 12:00pm-8:00pm, with potential evenings as needed. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of education and/or experience in social services, criminal justice, or related field.
• Experience with CBT group facilitation, assessments, and case management is preferred.
• Knowledge of criminal justice and court systems; ability to interact with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, plan, and facilitate individual and group training sessions per curriculum.
• Meet with clients individually to ensure understanding of services.
• Perform case management functions as directed.
• Maintain accurate written and verbal communications.
• Assist in developing and implementing Individual Service Plans.
• Input data into CDCS and CPA Case Management System as directed.
• Attend trainings and participate in quality assurance reviews.
