Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support delivery of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions within our treatment programs. You will assess behavior, develop plans, train staff, and monitor progress with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field and a Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential, plus CBT experience. A valid driver’s license is preferred for residential programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) for Addiction Recovery programs.
• 12 months CBT experience preferred; relevant clinical/human services exposure acceptable.
• Residential program candidates should have valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups, to patients, according to clinical standards of care and under supervision to address patients’ needs and goals.
• Participate in supervision with the Clinical leader and communicate progress and care plan adjustments.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed in consultation with Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services in patient records and ensure timely, compliant documentation.
• Communicate treatment interventions and needs to interdisciplinary team and support systems.
