Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support CBT interventions within our treatment programs. You will assess behavior, develop and implement individualized plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust care plans.

The role requires a Bachelors degree in a human services field, CBT experience, and the ability to train patients and caregivers. You may participate in supervision, documentation, and program development to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor7s degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) for Addiction Recovery programs.
• Relevant Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment (CBT) experience (12 months preferred).
• For Residential programs - Driver's license in good standing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups, to patients under supervision.
• Participate in supervision sessions, communicate patient progress, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and modify as required in consultation with Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services according to regulations and payer expectations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and assist in treatment plan development.
• Communicate treatment interventions to interdisciplinary team members and support systems.
• Provide training support to direct care team members on CBT interventions and behavioral plans.
• Provide parent or support person training on CBT interventions and behavior management.
