Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support the delivery of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions within treatment programs. You will assess behavioral functions, develop individualized plans, train patients and support persons, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and adapt plans for optimal outcomes.

The role includes providing CBT-focused treatments, documenting care, attending team meetings, and contributing to treatment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must hold a valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) if working in an Addiction Recovery program that requires this.
• Relevant CBT experience (12 months preferred) in clinical care, human services, or education.
• Residential programs require a current, active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups to patients under supervision.
• Participate in supervision sessions and communicate patient progress and care plan adjustments.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed in consultation with Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services and maintain timely notes in the medical record.
