Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a CBRNE Operational Readiness Specialist Mid at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will support vulnerability assessments of critical DoD assets and help advance disaster and emergency planning, continuity of operations, and risk mitigation across missions.

Requires 5+ years of related experience, EM risk-management knowledge, and CBRNE work. TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship are required; travel on short notice is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Knowledgeable in EM risk management; all-hazards threat assessment and capability assessment methodology.
• Must have CBRNE related work experience.
• Excellent analytic and communication (oral and written) skills.
• Must have a valid Passport and be able to travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains disaster and emergency planning and management plans, policies, and procedures, and provides advice and recommendations on all aspects of emergency planning.
• Work as part of a high-performing, multidisciplinary team that conducts vulnerability assessments of critical Department of Defense assets world-wide.
• Conducts assessments of COOP, supporting materials and services, emergency management plans; CBRN E preparedness and survivability; and force health protection.
• Possesses experience in COOP, incident response and consequence management, mass warning and notification, and support agreements.
• Become knowledgeable about supply chain and force health protection programs; understand DoD and agency policies and guidance.
• Apply expertise in Threat Assessment and Risk Management to mitigate vulnerabilities.
