Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced CBRNE Operational Readiness Specialist Mid to support DoD mission readiness. You will conduct objective vulnerability assessments of critical infrastructure and advise on emergency planning, COOP, and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience
• Knowledgeable in EM risk management processes such as the all-hazards threat assessment (AHTA) and capability assessment methodology
• Must have CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives) related work experience.
• Excellent analytic and communication (oral and written) skills; must obtain a valid Passport and be able to travel on short-notice

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains disaster and emergency planning and management plans, policies, and procedures, and provides advice and recommendations on all aspects of emergency planning
• Work as part of a high-performing, multidisciplinary team that conducts vulnerability assessments of critical Department of Defense assets world-wide
• Conducts assessments of continuity of operations programs (COOP), supporting materials and services (supply chain), emergency management (EM) plans; chemical, biological, nuclear, and radiological (CBRN) preparedness and survivability; and force health protection
• Possesses experience and proficiency in all aspects of COOP (business continuity, operations planning), comprehension of Emergency Management and CBRNE plans and programs
• Has capacity to become knowledgeable supply chain and force health protection program areas, and fluent in DoD, Service, CCMD, Agency, or Field Activity policies, directives, guidance, and instructions related to the four key protection programs assessed
• Apply expertise in Threat Assessment and Risk Management assist DoD in mitigating vulnerabilities
