Job summary

Lazarus Naturals in Portland, OR, is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead production and packaging teams in a fast-growing hemp and CBD operation. You will plan capacity, drive lean improvements, and manage Capex and labor costs while delivering real-time performance insights.

Strong leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration are required; METRC cannabis operations experience is preferred. This on-site role offers growth in a vertically integrated facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior production/packaging leadership role.
• 15+ years of experience in food and/or beverage production.
• Experience at startups and mid-size companies is preferred.
• Strong analytical, budgeting and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with METRC cannabis operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and report on production capacity and staffing.
• Develop and lead capex and improvement plans for production and warehousing.
• Drive cost targets and identify savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance & BI for real-time performance visibility.
• Lead lean initiatives and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Oversee labor costing, inventory, and floor level accountability.
• Coach and develop staff; manage budgets and long-term capacity planning.
