Job summary

Lazarus Naturals in Portland, Oregon, is seeking an experienced operations leader to drive production, packaging, and warehousing as we scale our hemp-derived CBD products.

You will partner with leadership to develop strategic plans, lead Capex projects, manage labor costs, and implement lean principles across facilities, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and building a culture of accountability on the floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior role managing a production/packaging team.
• 15+ years in food and/or beverage production.
• Experience at startups and mid-stage companies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with METRC regulated cannabis operations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan and report on operational performance with leadership.
• Develop strategic operations plans to support growth and efficiency.
• Lead capex and improvements for production and warehousing.
• Manage production scheduling and inventory to avoid stockouts.
• Oversee lean initiatives and cross-functional process improvements.
• Build capacity planning and ERP integration for operations.
