Job summary

V2X is seeking a qualified maintenance technician to perform O-Level maintenance on T/M/S aircraft and support flight line operations. You will lead teams, ensure compliance with DoL and Navy procedures, and apply technical guidance to ensure safe, reliable systems.

The role requires Navy maintenance background, ability to secure a clearance, and hands-on experience with aircraft electrical and weapons load systems. Competitive hourly compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 aircraft maintenance support experience.
• Minimum 3 years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain.
• Aviation Ordnance experience is a plus with five years O-Level experience.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on T/M/S aircraft egress, environmental, and related systems.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians and lead teams on complex tasks.
• Direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish maintenance actions per labor codes and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on specific applicable T/M/S aircraft Egress, Environmental and related systems. Perform flight line essential services as directed to daily Flight Schedule. Routine lifting in excess of OSHA standards is required. Routine ordnance loading will require team lifts of ordnance items up to 167 pounds’ load share per team member, in accordance with standard USN procedures.

Shall have authority to direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required to accomplish maintenance tasking in accordance with Department of Labor Skill Code definitions (responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.) Shall receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Shall have minimum of five years US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
• Shall have minimum 3 years T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain.
• Aviation Ordnance candidates experience shall be minimum five years O-Level experience.
• Shall have T/M/S aircraft maintenance experience for the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain, with the last two years.
• Experience as T/M/S CDI or CDQAR is required
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance
• Experienced in maintaining their assigned specific T/M/S aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, weapons release and control checks, aircraft conventional weapons load team member, aircraft conventional weapons load team leader, aircraft communications and navigation system and aircraft instruments.
• Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge to meet minimum qualifications.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a secret security clearance.
