Cavalier Oceanfront Resort in California seeks a Director of Sales to lead revenue, bookings, and a high-performing team. You’ll craft campaigns, close key accounts, and drive guest traffic with energy and creativity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years progressive hotel sales experience preferred or equivalent education.
• Valid driver’s license in applicable state.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to negotiate, sell and influence.

Responsibilities

• Fill rooms, pump up revenue, and celebrate wins with the team.
• Train, mentor, and inspire a diverse crew to tackle challenges with energy.
• Map out budgets, forecasts, and marketing campaigns to position the hotel as a top choice.
• Hit the road for sales calls, tours, and client meetings to build relationships.
• Support the General Manager as the hotel’s ambassador of style and positivity across departments.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state required.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to negotiate, sell, and influence.
• Thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic vision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organization and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure.
