Breedr in Fort Collins, Colorado seeks a Cattle Marketing Administrator to manage documentation, logistics, and records from booking through settlement. You’ll support cattle trading workflows, communicate with producers, packers, and freight partners, and maintain accurate data in Airtable.

Responsibilities

• Handle all paperwork and communication for feeder and fat cattle trades from start to finish.
• Collect producer/yard documentation, verify weights and head counts, and confirm load schedules.
• Prepare purchase and sales contracts, trucking details, and settlement packets.
• Coordinate with producers, feedlots, packers, and freight partners for smooth loadout and scheduling.
• Track delivery status and carcass data, reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Organize kill sheets, grade data, freight invoices, insurance and compliance docs.
• Enter current and historical trade data into Airtable and maintain clean digital records.
• Keep internal staff updated on workflow status and outstanding information.
• Communicate clearly with producers, packers, and transport partners about requirements and deadlines.
• Resolve discrepancies in weights, pricing terms, or data records as needed.
• Month-end reconciliation for trading accounts.
• Collaborate with Finance on invoice and bill creation.

Cattle Marketing Administrator (BRD-011)

We’re looking for an experienced agricultural administrator to support Breedr’s cattle trading operations by managing documentation, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate records from booking through settlement. If you’ve worked in cattle business administration, feedlot office operations, livestock marketing, or livestock logistics, this role will feel familiar.

This position ensures cattle trades are executed cleanly, accurately, and on time—building trust with producers, strengthening packer relationships, and supporting growth of our fat and feeder cattle trading programs.

Breedr launched its Precision Livestock Management app in 2019 and is on the mission to empower farmers, processors and food retailers with tools to produce transparency, traceability, environmentally and commercially sustainable meat, safeguarding the future of their business and plant. What You'll Be Doing

• Keep internal trading staff updated on workflow status and outstanding information
• Communicate clearly with producers, packers, and transport partners about requirements and deadlines

About You

• Experience in agricultural administration, feedlot offices, livestock marketing, procurement, or logistics, or similar role is a plus (but not required if eager to learn)
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• High degree of reliability and ability to manage time-sensitive workflows
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, digital document tools, email, and shared folders (Airtable/Google Workspace experience is a bonus
• Familiarity with cattle terminology (loads, grids, dress %, premiums/discounts, kill sheets, etc.), trading processes, programs, and carcass data (preferred but can be learned)
• Confidence communicating with producers, packers, dispatchers, and trucking partners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, dependable working style with a focus on accuracy and service
