Beck's is hiring a Cattle Feedlot Associate in Atlanta, IN. This full-time role focuses on daily animal care, pen checks, and safe handling of equipment in a busy feedlot environment. You will work as part of a team to maintain healthy cattle and operate feedlot machinery.

Qualifications include BQA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days, a valid driver's license, and basic mechanical skills. CDL is strongly preferred, with occasional travel to regional locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be BQA certified in cattle feedlot and transportation or obtain certifications within 30 days of employment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine pen checks to ensure animals are healthy; identify, pull, and treat sick or injured animals.
• Follow protocols for handling veterinary needles, syringes, and medications to avoid contamination or self-injury.
• Perform daily tasks like checking waterers, feed bunks, gates, and bedding to maintain cattle comfort.
• Operate equipment and maintain feedlot machinery and transport vehicles.
• Move and sort cattle safely through alleys and chutes; ensure safety around heavy machinery.
