Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a Farm Hand to feed and care for cattle, herd cattle to winter lots, maintain water, fencing, and equipment, haul hay, and perform snow removal and basic animal health tasks.

Experience: minimum 1 month. Must obtain a driver’s license within 30 days. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, endure extreme temperatures, and follow biosecurity and health and safety rules. English required; housing and transportation may be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 month of experience.
• Must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Feed and care for cattle.
• Herd cattle to winter lots.
• Maintain heated water supply and cattle equipment.
• Maintain fencing and snow removal.
• Haul hay from fields to winter lots.
• Assist in basic animal health procedures as applicable.
