Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking farm laborers to support feeding, cattle handling, and seasonal calving operations. Responsibilities include moving cattle between pastures, sorting animals, and maintaining barns and fences for safe operations.

Housing and meals are provided. Employer offers weekly town trips; a valid driver’s license within 30 days is required. English communication, basic biosecurity, and health guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak English.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver feed to maternal herd and bulls, keep bulls separate from females.
• Fence repair and maintenance.
• Sort and move cattle between pastures and groups.
• Wean calves from mothers and process incoming calves.
• Observe cattle for illness or injury and monitor calving activity.
• Load and unload cattle trucks; prepare for winter calving.
• Maintain feeding equipment and monitor water supplies.
