Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months experience in farming or livestock care.
• Must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Employer will require drug screen post-hire at employer’s expense.
• Criminal background check post-hire at employer’s expense due to presence of children on farm.
• Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor supplies.
• Herd livestock to pastures or enclosures and inspect for illness or injury.
• Move equipment and livestock between locations as needed; maintain pens and fences.
• Maintain records and adhere to health, safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
