Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a farm worker to feed and water cattle, monitor feed supplies, and move livestock between pastures and facilities.

The role requires a minimum of 3 months of experience, the ability to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days, and the strength to lift up to 75 pounds while following biosecurity and safety rules. Housing and meals are employer-provided, with possible transportation support from the employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months of experience is required.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Exposed to extreme temperatures.
• Able to perform physical tasks with frequent stooping, walking, and standing.
• Must speak English and follow health, safety and biosecurity guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor food supplies.
• Move livestock and equipment between pastures and facilities.
• Read ration sheets and maintain growth, production, and cost records.
• Drive pickup to town for cattle supplies on occasion.
• Maintain pens, yards, and fences and keep areas clean.
