Autoliv United States is seeking a Test Fixture & Machine Designer to develop and release fixtures for airbag, seatbelt and steering wheel testing. You will design in CATIA V5, collaborate across engineering, lab and manufacturing teams, and produce precise drawings and documentation to meet validation standards.

The role emphasizes robust, cost-effective fixture solutions, with strong GD&T and PLM skills to ensure compliant data management and project success.

Formación

• High School Diploma with at least 3 years' fixture design experience.
• Experience with test fixtures, holding fixtures, and attribute fixtures.
• Advanced CATIA V5 skills: Part Design, Assembly Design, Parametrization, Booleans.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Experience with PLM data management preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and release test fixtures and test devices in CATIA V5 to support airbag, seatbelt, and steering wheel testing programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, laboratory, and manufacturing teams to meet validation requirements for DV, PV, and LAT testing.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation while ensuring compliance with design standards and testing procedures.
• Apply knowledge of machining, fabrication methods, materials, and metal properties to develop robust, cost-effective fixtures.
• Communicate technical information across departments and global facilities to support fixture development and improvements.
