Job summary

The Archdiocese of San Antonio seeks a part-time childcare professional to supervise children, implement lesson plans, and maintain accurate records in a faith-based school setting. Reports to the Director and works with a team to ensure safety and compliance with archdiocesan standards.

Responsibilities include training assistants, preparing daily reports, communicating with parents, and participating in ongoing training to maintain regulatory and educational standards within Catholic education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA credential preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR/First Aid certification (can be obtained during job training).
• Meet state and archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times, maintaining a safe environment.
• Supervise and train assistants in room policies and procedures.
• Create and implement lesson plans.
• Complete and maintain classroom reports and daily child records.
• Attend staff meetings outside of regular hours.
• Communicate effectively with parents and professionals.
• Adhere to DFPS regulations and archdiocesan policies.
